Scope
Aviation Career Enrichment (ACE), Inc. is a nonprofit program dedicated to youth. It is run by a volunteer corps of FAA certified pilots, flight and ground instructors. Some of the ACE volunteers are themselves graduates of the Weekend Academy.

Career opportunities in aviation lie in many areas. While ACE offers actual flight training, for those whose interests are in the related aviation disciplines, ACE's career exploration program provides this exposure through field trips, guest speakers, and hands on experiences.

Examples of careers explored are: aerospace engineering, aerospace medicine, air traffic control, aircraft mechanics, aircraft fabrication, assembly, and many others.

ACE is supported through gifts and grants from its former students, foundations, companies, individuals, and a nominal tuition from its student participants. ACE is tax exempt under the rules of the IRS section 501(c)(3). Gannett Foundation, Gannet Communities Fund, Organization of Black Airline Pilots, and the Menemsha Fund are significant contributors to ACE. Volunteer participation from the aviation community, and financial support of the general public is greatly appreciated. We need your help. CALL ACE TODAY.

If you are between the ages of 9 and 18 and are fascinated by aerospace vehicles, curious about overcoming the natural force of gravity, always wanted to fly in the atmosphere or in space, then ACE wants you!
